Thank you Morgan! The “Family Reunion” painting has found a new place in our home. Visible from many rooms, one sees its vibrant colours and atmosphere and is a stunning addition.
I love the paintings commissioned for our office. They are a stunning showcase of Kootenay scenery and have become a beautiful focal point of the the space. It was a fun and easy creative process to envision the paintings and the theme for the space.
Commissioned a series of custom pieces for our office, and could not love them more! Morgan took so much time to go through our vision and the reference images, and they turned out better than I even imagined. The colours and her art style are just gorgeous. Absolutely the best!
I have had Morgan paint commissions for me on a several occasions. Her artwork is obviously beautiful but she pays special attention to what her clients want, making the paintings a special memory or tribute to what you think is important. Recently she painted my sister skiing in the mountains. All her painting’s have turned out wonderful and she is a wonderful girl!
FAQ
Some questions my customers often have. If you have anything else you'd like to ask, feel free to reach out!
Do you take commissions?
Yes, I currently take on a few projects each year. The best way to request a commission is by sending me an email. I tend not to take commissions past September so it is best to request Christmas gifts early in the year. I charge 3$/ square inch (ex: a 10x10" piece = 300$+GST/PST) and request 25% of the total commission price once the project is started.
Do you teach lessons?
No, I do not currently teach lessons. I would love to be able to! However, I do not have the space to facilitate them at the moment.
Where is the best place to find frames?
This depends on your price point and location. If you're local to the Kootenay area and looking for a custom frame I would recommend Van Gogh Framing out of Nelson, BC. You can get any variety of frames made for the style of print that you have purchased. My prints are made at Nelson Fine Art Printing which is in the same building. If you are not in the area, Michael's does custom framing, and there are usually smaller businesses who specialize as well.
IKEA and Michael's will have all the standard sizes for a reasonable price (ex. 8"x10", 11"x14"). Amazon will allow you to purchase the very unique/odd sizes (ex. 10"x20") and often with a mat. They tend to be plexiglass instead of glass but I have found the quality is generally quite good. If you have trouble finding the size frame that you are looking for, just send me an email and I can forward you a few links.
